It's February, it's really cold outside (and snowy), and it's time for hearts and roses.
I kind of love that.
The hearts and roses bit, anyway.
The bit about being stuck indoors has been a bit more challenging.
Luckily, we discovered BBC's "Foyle's War" on Netflix and have been watching, well, a LOT of it.
You know I've always got to have a work-tray next to me while I'm 'watching' TV and, this week, the tray included all the paper roses I made last year.
Last year passed before I got around to creating a wreath with them.
How nice to be alive when another season, appropriate for this work tray...
...came around, along with stay-indoors cold weather!
And how nice that episodes of "Foyle's War" are long enough to get some significant work done, too!
I finished my wreath of paper roses.
It's hanging, temporarily, on my studio closet door.
I like it very much.
And I like you, too, Dear Reader.
So, here is some love from my studio for you today.
A kiss from the little girl who oversees my sewing area.
A smile from Me Darlin' Mother (or at least from my Modigliani-style portrait of her), who oversees my work desk.
And a whole basketful of love from Lola!
Muah!
