E-stuff. i-stuff. Woohoo!-stuff.

How awesome is this going to be? I purchased an iPad for myself today! I wanted to amaze the Prince by walking into an electronic store and spending a whole bunch of money without him. I don't buy much, I don't shop much, and I certainly am not the technomaniac of this twosome. I wanted him to be so proud of me and surprised by me. I picked out what I wanted very quickly (until I had to choose a color, which was, um, time consuming). And then I tried to finish the transaction. I didn't know the PIN for our joint checking account debit card. I didn't know the PIN for my personal checking account. I didn't have a credit card with me. And then I discovered I'd lost my checkbook somewhere between store number 1 and store number 2. I had no means of paying for my big, amazing, all-grown-up-now purchase. I had to have Beeg Seester write a check for me (she was buying one, too!). I didn't feel very grown up and proud of myself so much after that. But, I came away with my new helper, even if I didn't come away with my pride. And maybe this will mean that I get to talk with you often again. Perhaps having this handy when I have glued myself to my worktable with the latest superior-bond glue will mean that I can still show you what I'm working on. I miss writing. And I miss you guys. Oh, yes. I have missed you, Dear Readers. I really have.
