Sorry.
It's becoming rather difficult to find a title for yet another post full of belated inchies.
It's nice to have Gwen to blame things on.
And it is entirely her fault; she's in one of her manic phases again, and there are bits of paper, fabric, glitter, glue, ribbon, feathers, and magazine clippings everywhere.
She's got the telephoto lens on the camera and has run the battery down, too.
One can hardly FIND an inchie in this place, much less photograph it.
Fortunately for us, Gwen's not feeling well today (and one can only imagine, considering all the glue she's been sniffing in that studio of hers!).
I dug around and found these seven inchies and, of course, I've lived through their stories.
Now you can.
If you dare.

Yikes.
I can now be trounced remotely at a game of Scrabble.
Miss Helping Hands was home on holiday last Monday, and she asked me to add the 'Word' game app to my new smart phone.
Sometimes, when the game is over, I'll be looking at my new smart phone...
...and not feeling particularly smart.

Ever have one of those drip, drip, drip situations?
Ain't it a blessing when it gets resolved?

I spent a lot of time in my studio last Wednesday, trying to finish making and writing thank-you cards for Christmas gifts.
I'm down to the last one, but I'm still waiting for a little inspiration for the card.
After all the concentration and work on card designs, I spent a little time doing a more 'mindless' task; I cut and glittered a big pile of paper hearts.
Some day I will actually turn them into Valentines.

Last week I started to struggle with some allergy issues that leave me kind of wiped out at the end of the day.
After our respective work days last Thursday, the Prince and I were curled up on the couch talking when I got a text from my Beeg Seester.
"Gettin a half-cap and thinking of u."
Although black coffee serves me for the day-to-day, once a week I treat myself to a cup of coffee with a couple of shots of cappuccino in it (from 7-11). I call it dessert. And I've gotten my Seester hooked.
"Oh, that sounds soooo good right now!" I texted back.
"I'll bring ya one..."
"Ohhhh don't tease me!!! Tell me you're serious!"
"I'm serious im at the 711 by uur house what size?"
"Small. Awesome!"
And so, I had my dessert on Thursday night and...
...the unexpected pleasure of a visit with my Seester to go with it.

Lately I've been thinking about compiling a list of some of the things I do.
Not a typical list of accomplishments; more like a "This is Ridiculous" list.
I could start it with:
- clipped the tops off 85 purple Q-tips
- made chocolate covered pine needles
- fashioned a Candyland "Gloppy" from paper
- washed and sorted chicken feathers
Yep.
I washed and sorted a few bagfulls of chicken feathers that my Chicken Raising Seester had given me a while back.
I found two that were unlike the others.
One looked almost like a leopard's skin, and the other was striped black and white.
I know I excite pretty easily, but I had some plans rolling around in the back of my head to make my Seester a fabuloso Valentine with some of the feathers from her ill-fated birds, and it was nice to see that I would have these to add to the beautiful guinea feathers she'd given me.
As soon as I'm done writing this post full of inchies, I'm going to show you her Valentine.
I'm sure she'll see it but, if she likes it, it may mean that...
...I'll get to see her.

I had a scheduled catch-up date with my friend, Patti-is-Fun.
We always manage to catch our hair on fire about creative things when we're together.
And Saturday she spied my Hobby Lobby 40% off coupon sitting on the counter, so of course we just drove our little selves up there to shop together.
Miss Patti-is-Fun is a knitter and crocheter, so we spent a few minutes in the yarn aisles.
As I looked at all those luscious fibers, I remembered Me Darlin' Mither wearing a very small crocheted scarf one of the grandshoots had made for her and saying, "This little scarf is just perfect to wear in the house; it keeps my neck warm without having to wear bulky clothing. It's red, though, so I can't wear it with everything."
Et voila!
A viable excuse to buy some yarn and start another project is born.
It's that simple.

If only it were that simple to finish, photograph, and blahg about them all.
