I had some plans formed for yesterday which were gently overridden by the Master of the Universe.
I was planning to do Me Darlin' Mither's hair right after my D'Art group meeting, and then treat myself to a visit to a nearby gallery and take in their current exhibit.
But D'Art group ran wonderfully late.
Which meant I got to Mither's late.
Which meant I had the unexpected pleasure of running into my Blue Bar of Happiness Seester and my Chicken Raisin' Seester and her husband there, and having a great visit with them all.
They had been out at estate sales all morning.
My Chicken Raisin' Seester had picked up a box of 'mixed goods' which just happened to contain some old art rubber stamps.
Since she knows I have quite a collection from my days teaching classes...
...she brought them in for me to look over.
It was an odd assortment, for sure.
I'm not sure what the 'strong arm' is for, nor do I know what the previous owner needed with a stamp that said "NOT A SOUVENIR", but I'm thinking I could have some fun with both of them.
I loved looking at the whole collection, but there was one in particular that just made my day.
And the terrible thing about me (I'm about to confess) is that I asked if I could have this one, rather than the one that said "BEAUTIFUL".
I'm sure it's just because it was so unexpected.
Sort of like the way my day went.
I can't imagine actually using it.
Unless of course you have some really great ideas for me.
