Here are a few of the week's Inchies which could speak for themselves.
If only I would let them.
July 11:
Poppa held Little Man up to the 'glass' so he could watch his Dadda play,...
...but I'm not sure he understood why he got no response to all of his knocking.

July 12:
It doesn't look like this inchie represents something good, but it does.
I worked up the courage to share with my family about something which was hurting me emotionally (unrelated to them).
They were exceedingly kind and caring.
Then I worked up the courage to confess that it was a fight for me not to make plans for future (vengeful) self-protection.
They were exceedingly understanding and helpful.
It took a lot of sting out of the hurt to have them show me things from another viewpoint,
And to have them tell me that anyone in the same situation would be having the same fight put a lot of steel into me for the battle.
So, perhaps there is more real goodness represented on this Inchie than any of the others.
And the next morning, my regular course of scripture reading brought me to this word (emphases mine):
"...and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; " 1 Peter 2:23
I want to be like Him.

July 14:
Miss Helping Hands and I finally started making the door decs she is responsible for as the RA in her dorm.
We thought the summer would be full of opportunities to play with ideas, but our schedules just haven't meshed like we'd hoped.
She decided on flowers because she wanted something really cheerful.
Since these are 6" flowers with 12" stems, we think the dorm hallways will look very cheery once they're taped to all the doors.
Once she gets her new roster we will write the girls' names in the raised flower centers, like this:
Time spent working on door decs with Miss Helping Hands is time that I cherish.
But I'm afraid it means she's already preparing to go back to school.
And I just don't cherish that quite so much.
