I hope it's a sign.
June started with a real, honest-to-goodness, hold-it-in-your-hand, bonafied, paper letter arriving in my box.
A Dear Reader sent me a sweet little card, with some fun(ny) little craft labels enclosed.
Of course, I had to go visit the Craftster web site when I recieved these labels, as I had never been there.
I'm not sure I should have added it to the list of virtual creative communities I know about.
It's dangerous, if you know what I mean.
But, the labels sure are fun.
I love this one, but I think it makes Naomi cringe just to look at it.
This is another one which represents a...well...let's just say "conflict of philosophies" between Naomi and I.
This one is my favorite.
I think I may have to make it my mantra.
Paper and scissors.
They rock.
------
Know what else rocks?
This book.
I told you about it in a previous post, but yesterday Prince Charming and I celebrated our 31st anniversary, and now I own this book.
Because Prince Charming rocks, too.
There are some truly amazing works of art featured near the end of the book.
But the book has instructions for 28 projects you can make yourself (only one of which requires major power tools).
Look at this project:
And this project:
I think I want to try them all.
Yep.
All.
