Did I mention that Prince Charming planted corn and sunflowers this year?
The sunflowers are now about 6 feet tall and starting to form flowers (I think).
And the corn is making ears.
Seeing this ear of corn was my Inchie moment on Saturday...
...but I have to confess something.
Last night I had to tell the Prince that I am fighting envy and peeved feelings.
It seems like I did a lot of work with digging, preparing, planting, weeding, watching, watering, etc. to get my little wildflowers and herbs into the world safely.
He bought two packets of seed, went out to the spare garden bed, yanked up some invading grass, and sowed his seeds.
And he gets this big show.
I know.
I'm small and petty.
And he loves me anyway.

Sunday's Inchie represents a kick back hour I had with Miss Mary Mack and her lap-top in the big round chair.
Hulu.
Who knew?
My shoots keep me in the loop on all this newfangled stuff.
And I was proud of myself.
I watched the program with Mary and did not do anything else while it was on.
It's a miracle.
-------
Last night I went up to the studio to get a few notes and pieces of mail ready for Blackheart to pick up today.
It's been awhile since I did any rubber stamping, but I did play with an old favorite image for a card I was making.
When I was digging around for an envelope, I found another card I'd made some time ago with an image clipped from a Living magazine.
Ms. Stewart had a two-page photo spread of different kinds of peaches in that issue.
One of them just begged to be made into a card.
My mind just goes.
I can't help it.
-------
And this little bit of chat has nothing to do with anything I usually post about.
But, yesterday, when the dress Miss Mary Mack ordered came in an envelope small enough to fit easily in the mailbox...
...well...I just ate my heart out at the thought of having a figure like that.
And now I have no heart.
