The day of the "great flood of 2010", I got the most wonderful package in the mail from Lisa over at Inchie Arts.
She said she'd been following my Inchie Project and wanted me to have some of her products to experiment with.
Oooh la la!
Such fun!
Thursday I took some of the Inchies to my D'Art group meeting and had them all draw one.
One of them grows and sells wildflowers.
One of them has been fasting from processed sugar for six months and had eaten a piece of coconut cream pie the night before our meeting.
One of them drew a picture of her husband vacuuming.
Because that is what makes a woman crazy for a man.
Just so you know.
Now that I know I can draw four Inchies on one Inchie (though I did make that husband look like a girlie man), there will be no stopping me.
Perhaps next year I'll have enough confidence to start my Inchie journal on the 1+ Inchies.
This week I started a different kind of project on these:
It may take me awhile, but I'm excited about starting it because the idea came to me quite some time ago, and it will be good to start getting it out of my head.
This is the first of 26 Twinchies that will be in the finished project:
I doubt that I'll work in alphabetical order, but I will be doing a Twinchie for each letter.
I'll let you know how it goes.
In the meantime, back to that bag of goodies.
Remember me saying something about Inchie books?
Well, lookie here:
Ain't we got fun?
And I've been making some greeting cards with Inchies, but these little note cards are just the right size.
I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with all the products in this wonderful package.
There are some nice people in the world, aren't there?
P.S. There are some nice people over at My Heart's Fancy in Oklahoma City, too. And they have Inchie Arts products on their shelves...
