I fell behind on the family calendar and had to send three late birthday cards today.
In the interest of preventing that from happening again any time soon, I cut up some more magazines this afternoon.
One of them had a brief article about the first woman referee on the professional something field.
Sorry, I didn't read the article.
I cut out her picture to use on the front of one my envelopes, but I decided it didn't quite work with what was inside.
And then this card idea just came to me.
I figure most two-year-olds can't read and don't really care about cards.
We send them anyway, and maybe this one will make some parent smile.
Let me show you something else I think was a good call.
When I moved my studio back upstairs a few weeks ago, one of my little magazine clippings must have slipped from it's file folder.
I couldn't help but laugh when I found it.
And I found the perfect home for it.
This is the outside of my studio door.
You need a close up?
It's kind of like an aspirin.
It's small, but it works.
