Reading your suggestions about how to draw an "inchie" to represent encouragement and affirmation has been a wonderful experience.
After waiting an entire extra day, and sitting down to draw an inch that incorporated several of the suggestions, something completely different floated into my mind.
The inchie's chief purpose is to evoke a clear memory a year, or two, or twenty from now, when I look back at the days of 2010.
And I think that is why the inch for my frame shop experience looks like this:
In a week or two, when I pick up the finished piece, it will explain this strange image - and I will explain my wonderful experience.
Yesterday I spent the lion's share of the day talking with two people about life and books.
Two very different people.
In two very different settings.
But all the same books.
And that makes another inch.
Know what I'm learning while I do this "Inchie Project"?
I'm learning not only that life is more manageable one inch at a time...
It's also more beautiful.
