Well, maybe not tons.
But lots.
So I had a friend over today, and we played at making cards again.
I'm a slave to that family calendar now.
And February's coming.
I got out some things I haven't played with in a loooong time.
Then I stamped and colored on paper I've had for a loooong time.
And we made birthday cards with a little help from the computer printer.
Sometimes, the cards write themselves:
I have trouble coming up with ideas for "man cards".
But, as I said, I've got a ton of stuff.
Like an old set of blueprints.
Only I just gotta say, blueprints aren't blue anymore and it makes me sad. They had their own peculiar smell and feel. And I miss 'em, doggone it.
I guess I should say I have some engineering "plans".
Big huge sheets of 'em.
I should be able to make enough man cards for even MY family.
I tried to come up with some great line for the inside.
This was the best I could do:
This is one reason I don't work for Hallmark.
Back to the tons of stuff...
I have a lot of little paper elephants that I cut by hand during a particularly intense season.
Et voila!
Anniversary cards.
And just in case you can't read that stamp on the back of the envelope:
That's right.
Don't forget it.
And, of course, there is a front to the envelope, too.
Oh, yes, and an inside to the card.
I'm ready for the rest of January, all of February, and some of March now.
Bring it on.
P.S This is what the little elephants were left over from:
They just didn't want to have their picture taken today.
